Origin and diffusion
Breed native to southern Spain (Malaga). Also highly bred in the area of Seville, Córdoba, Cadiz, Huelva, and in the rest of the provinces of Andalusia and Extremadura, Castilla Leon.
It is a breed characterized by a marked rusticity and it adapts well to both intensive and extensive breeding.

Average height at the withers:
- Males a. 65-78 centimeters
- Females a. 55-70 centimeters
- Males a. kg. 60-75
- Females a. 45-60
Multipare: 600 - 700 liters of milk distributed over 280 - 300 days
Primipare400 - 500 lt per item
with values of 5.8% fat and 4.1% protein.
Average of 2 kids per birth; live weight of 8-9 kg in 30 days of life.
