Origin and diffusion
Breed native to Spain (south east), where it is highly bred. It has been exported to many countries in South America (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela) and North Africa.
Morphological and productive characteristics
Cut it: medium (76 cm in the male and 68 cm in the female). Harmonic conformation.
Head: light, with straight or slightly concave profile. Small, almost horizontal ears.
Pile: of a more or less dark red color, sometimes almost black

Good milk production (up to 900 kg), medium fertility and high earliness of kids.
