Created in the mid-1800s, starting from a breed from Eastern Europe and from Swiss pigeons with pointed tufts on the Eichbühl farm, located in the canton of Bern.
It recalls in the figure a robust, elongated country pigeon with a low position; he has a long, angular head, resembling that of a lizard, with surprisingly large eyes, and a shy attitude.
