Origin, diffusion and economic characteristics
Breed created in the United States around 1970.
It derives from the selection work of some American breeders who liked some characteristics of the Araucana breed, but wanted to eliminate some defects in the breeding due to the lack of fertility due to the lack of the tail. Admitted to the American standard in 1984.
