General appearance and characteristics of the breed
Full body, long and rectangular. The color of the plumage is uniform dark red with strong bright reflections.
Trunk: rectangular and rounded shape; horizontal posture.
Head: small, slightly rounded.
Beak: medium length; reddish horn color.
Eyes: bright; red to orange-red iris.
a) simple crest: small, regularly indented, it follows the line of the nape without leaning on it.
b) rose ridge: wide, well-implanted, oval, without pits; medium size pearl; ends with a short and small spine.
Bargigli: of medium size; as smooth as possible.
Face: red without feathers.
Mumps: small; red.
Neck: medium length with abundant cape.
Shoulders: wide, slightly angular.
Back: long, straight, horizontal; well rounded on the sides. Large rump with medium length lanceolate
Wings: medium length; well closed; flow rates horizontal and firmly measured.
Tail: medium length, angle clearly visible, with large sickles of medium length that just pass the large helmsman with numerous small sickles.
Chest: full, wide and deep; well rounded.
Legs: powerful; medium length; clearly visible. Medium length tarsi, round and smooth; yellow, brown-red scales and red side bars allowed. Medium-high habit and well separated.

Conformation: smooth, well tightened to the body and which does not form bearings.
IV - COLORS
Dark red uniform, sustained, rich in luster. Without clear flames. Intensely colored spine of a reddish horn color to the skin. Wing covers without black or blue lacquering. Primary remiges uniform dark red, black allowed on external beards. Secondary remiges with dark red external beards and partially black internal beards. Helmsman and sickle-shaped blacks with green reflections, tinged with red towards the croup.
Deep red down jacket in all parts of the body.
Uniform dark red color rich in lacquering. Remiganti, small coverts of the wings and tail as in the rooster.
Serious defects: plumage of the coverts light red, marbled, floury or mixed with black; black or blue lacquering in the wing covers; black flames in the cape; peppering in the inner beards of the primary remiges; duvet with white or sooty; red dominated tail.
